Check out some of the plays, challenges, and trick shots our All Saints Students were able to do:
On my half basketball court I went to the back and did a drop kick with my soccer ball and after an hour and almost a half I finally made it in the hoop. Christina H. (6) I tied a cup to my head and tried to throw a ping pong ball into the cup. I made it in about 60 tries. Abby E. (5) I used a slingshot to hit a water balloon into the trunk of a tree from about 30-40 feet away. My first tries missed the tree by a lot but I finally got it. Keira R. (7) The hardest trick shot I did was flinging a stuffed monkey into a basket with my feet while doing many circles on the mushroom (a rounded pommel horse). It took me at least 30 tries because I had to time it just right. Jaxsen G. (2) I decided to challenge myself to do cartwheels across the backyard from one end to the other. I thought it would take 20 but it took 15 in a row. My grandma took a video of it, and I did a "happy dance" at the end. Kirsten W. (1) I stood on the platform on our swing set / playground, shot a puck from there into a bucket on top of the hockey net! I was about 20 feet away. Henry P. and Charlie P. (1) I tried to do balance my bow staff for Karate and rotate it around my hand 2 times without dropping it. It took me 3 days of practicing 20 minutes a day before I was able to do it. Ben Z. (K) I lined up pots and pans on some of the steps and had to bounce a ping pong ball on all of them and make it land in a bowl at the bottom of the steps. Ellie S. (4) I hit a light weight golf ball off of my house and into a bucket around 20 feet off of my house. I finally got the golf ball in the bucket off the house in 113 tries. James B. (7) I had my brother foul me while I shot a long three. I had to make the three and the free throw. It was hard to make the and 1 three, so the free throws were always really pressuring. This took me at least 75 tries. Nate R. (7) . |
