Check out some of the awesome ideas that kids included in their obstacle courses:
-I carried a bag of mulch across the driveway. Marcus H. (5) -Dragging a ball with a hockey stick . Lauren G. (4) -Carry bag of salt from point A to point B. Iris O. (7) -Ran to our elevated fire pit and walked around the edges to balance. Xander N. (K),Trygve N. (3), Addy N. (7) -Hitting the baseball with the bat half way through the course. Charlie I. (K) -Shoot out the three targets with a bow and arrow. If you don’t hit all of the targets on the first try, collect the arrows and continue. Nate R. (7) -Do a flip on the trampoline! August A. (8) -Throw golf balls into a bag and plan trajectory because of the wind. James B. (7) -Go to half court and roll two dice. The first dice would tell you if you needed to do jumping jacks, sit-ups, push-ups, burpees, squats, or mountain climbers. The second would tell you how many to do. Matt H. (8) -Balance a ball on a shovel and walk it to the next marker. Kirsten W. (1) -Part of my obstacle course was doing 30 perfect sets with a volleyball for the skills portion. Sarah H. (8) -Carry my sister from one side of basement to other. Jimmy B. (K) -We ran up the ladder and down the slide, kicked the soccer ball into a goal, walked the beam around the playground, ducked under the hammock, carried the birdie on the badminton racket, and then raced to the fence at the end of the yard.
